Castlerock is a quiet village five miles from the town of Coleraine and close to coastal resorts of Portrush and Portstewart.
Within the immediate area is the remains of Downhill Castle and estate including its gardens and the historic landmark of Mussenden Temple.
Benone blue flag beach, Magilligan Point and the Greencastle Ferry are within easy reach by car.
Our cottage is part of a terrace known locally as "The Twelve Apostles". The terrace was erected in 1882 by Sir Henry Harvey Bruce, owner of the Downhill Estates and is now listed because of its distinctive architectural style and charm. Close by is the Lions Gate, the Beach and Castlerock Championship Golf Course.
Our cottage has recently been extended and renovated with considerable skill and attention to historic detail.
The cottage is furinshed mainly with antique pine and has a wood burning stove in the living room. The kitchen is well furnished with mod cons.
Upstairs has three bedrooms and a bathroom.
