15-20 mins walk along cliff or across fields to Littlehaven, a lovely little village cove with two of its three pubs on the beach and also a centre for fishing and diving. Several other sandy beaches very close.
Flowers in spring; birds all year; 25 mins drive to embarkation point for Skomer Island.
Surfing, sailboarding, sea canoeing, adventure sports, horse-riding all nearby. For culture, St Davids Cathedral and Festival, Milford Haven Torch Theatre. Further afield: history/pageantry at Pembroke Castle; thrills at Oakwood Theme Park.
For a quiet but active sea-side holiday, the best place ever.
