In the grounds of the castle there are two self-catering holiday homes in the 17th century converted barn. Both the holiday homes boast stunning views over Edinburgh, the Firth of Forth and over the water to Fife and beyond. The minimum stay is 2 nights.
We have recently made one of the bedroom suites into a serviced apartment in the original 14th Century part of the castle. Stay in the vaulted room at the top of the old tower – perfect for a romantic get-away! The spiral staircase leads up past the old dungeon to a roof top walkway with panoramic views. Tower Vaults has one bedroom and continental breakfast is provided in the room.
Our setting offers the perfect balance between being close to the buzz of Edinburgh yet have the advantage of a peaceful rural setting amidst rolling farmland. East Lothian is renowned for its pretty beaches and villages and being a golfers dream. Guests can also have a tour of the castle and meet the horses, hens and sheep.
