Traditional 19th century semi detached cottage in rural position with views of the Lake District fells to the Langdale Pikes in the distance, yet only 1 1/2 miles north of the mediaeval market town of Kendal, known as Gateway to the Lakes. Very convenient for Windermere (8 miles), Ambleside and the central lake district.
Accommodation comprises – Entrance Porch into hallway with downstairs WC. Fully fitted kitchen with separate dining area with good sized table and 5 chairs. Large sitting room with large comfortable 3 seater settee, two large armchairs, plus other seating. There is an open fire and an antique broadwood cottage piano. Upstairs – on the first floor, one bedroom with double bed and one bedroom with two single beds. Both bedrooms have washbasins and both bedrooms look out over open countryside. Family bathroom with bath with overhead shower and WC. On the second floor, large third bedroom with roof beams – single bed and 14" colour television. Views to fells.
Pricing
For 5 people prices vary from £310 to £495 depending on the time of year. There are good discounts for bookings for 2 people subject to availability. Prices are inclusive of electricity, heating, hot water and bedlinen. Beds are made up for your arrival.
